Terms of Use

Last updated 27 October 2026 · Fortuna Streams Ltd

About these terms

These terms apply when you use RenewalGuard on the web, iPhone or Android. By creating an account or using RenewalGuard you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use your data. If you don't agree, please don't use RenewalGuard.

Who we are

RenewalGuard is provided by Fortuna Streams Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14965200), registered office The Accountancy Partnership Suite 5, 5th Floor, City Reach, 5 Greenwich View Place, London E14 9NN, United Kingdom. Contact us at support@fortunastreams.com.

Who can use RenewalGuard

You must be 18 or over and use RenewalGuard for your own personal or business record-keeping. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account.

What RenewalGuard does — and doesn't do

RenewalGuard is a reminder and tracking tool. You enter your subscriptions, bills and free trials yourself, and we remind you before they renew. RenewalGuard does not connect to your bank, does not cancel anything on your behalf, and does not give financial advice.

We work hard to make reminders reliable, but they depend on things outside our control — such as email delivery, spam filters and your internet connection — and on the dates you enter being correct. You remain responsible for managing and cancelling your own subscriptions and for any charges from the companies you subscribe to.

Free plan

The Free plan lets you track up to 5 active subscriptions with reminders 3 days before each renewal. We may change what's included in the Free plan, and we'll give you reasonable notice of significant changes.

RenewalGuard Plus (paid plan)

RenewalGuard Plus is an optional upgrade with extra features such as unlimited subscriptions and custom reminder timing. It's available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one off lifetime purchase. The price and what's included are shown before you buy.

Your right to cancel and refunds

Cancelling a subscription

When you cancel, you keep Plus until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Refunds

If you're a consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase. When you buy Plus you ask us to give you access straight away and acknowledge that you lose this right to cancel once access has started, except where the law says otherwise.

None of this affects your statutory rights, for example if RenewalGuard is faulty or not as described.

Your content

The information you add stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide RenewalGuard to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please don't add anything unlawful, or information you don't have the right to use (such as images you don't have permission to upload).

Acceptable use

Don't misuse RenewalGuard — for example by trying to access other people's data, interfering with or overloading the service, getting around plan limits, or reverse-engineering the app except where the law allows.

Service names and logos

Service names and logos are shown only to help you recognise your subscriptions. They belong to their owners. RenewalGuard is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.

Changes to RenewalGuard and these terms

We may update RenewalGuard and these terms from time to time — for example to add features or reflect changes in the law. If a change significantly affects you we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you don't agree with a change you can stop using RenewalGuard and delete your account.

Ending your use

You can stop using RenewalGuard and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why where we can. If we ever stop providing RenewalGuard we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.

Our responsibility to you

We provide RenewalGuard with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for charges made by companies you subscribe to, including when a reminder doesn't arrive. Where the law allows us to limit our responsibility, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £50 if that's higher. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Apple App Store users

If you downloaded RenewalGuard from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and Fortuna Streams Ltd, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and isn't responsible for the app or for any claims relating to it (including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims) — we are, to the extent set out in these terms. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you're not in a country subject to a US Government embargo and not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there. Please contact us first — most problems can be sorted out quickly.
